"Art is my personal bliss. I gain inspiration for potential paintings through observing my surroundings with an artistic eye that is always composing, evaluating and exploring. I consider the effects of lighting, shadows and atmospheric mood while striving to interpret a selected subject. As an artist, I aspire to capture the essence of what an apple tastes like rather than just what it looks like. My ultimate goal is to create paintings which resonate with people. Working in both watercolor and oil, I enjoy the challenges of each media."
